The Mission:

Our mission is to launch impactful programs focused on education that empower, promote, regulate, and coordinate efforts to alleviate poverty in our constituency by 60% in the next five years. We will accomplish this through prudent management, with a special emphasis on education and security, alongside the strategic utilization of NG-CDF and other allocated funds.

My Vision Statement:

As the leader of a vibrant and diverse constituency, I am committed to fostering peace, prosperity, and sustainable progress for all. It is essential that we ensure equity and equality in resource distribution while enhancing our education system to support every school-going child. Our future depends on cultivating an educated young generation. As the founder of Uafrika and a passionate Pan-Africanist, I am dedicated to participatory leadership that addresses the aspirations of both Kenya and Africa.

Embakasi-North Constituency

The National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), formerly known as the Constituencies Development Fund (CDF), was established in 2003 under the Constituencies Development Fund Act, 2003. This vital fund has undergone significant evolution, being amended by the CDF (Amendment) Act, 2007, and later repealed by the CDF Act of 2013. The current framework, the NG-CDF Act of 2015, ensures that resources are effectively allocated to foster development at the constituency level. The Cabinet Secretary for Devolution oversees the Fund, guiding its policy and strategic initiatives to maximize its impact on communities across the nation.

Education

In Embakasi North constituency, Majority of the residents has formal education, 50% have primary education and 30% with a secondary level of education or above are working for pay.

The constituency has 24 schools; 15 primary schools and 9 secondary schools.

Economic Activity

The communities’ main source of income is industrial works and practice business activities which has been a big challenge in the area. Mostly women are engaged on small business for sustainability, while men are mostly engaged on industrial works and Jua kali Artisans to sustain their families.

10-Point Blueprint Plan for Transforming Embakasi North Constituency:
  1. Revitalize Transport: We will construct new roads and transform outdated ones, ensuring efficient connectivity throughout Embakasi North.
  2. Enhance Healthcare Access: Our plan includes building new public hospitals and upgrading existing health facilities to provide exceptional healthcare for all residents.
  3. Empower Health Services: By equipping local public hospitals, we will elevate the standard of health services available to the community.
  4. Improve Educational Infrastructure: We will construct new public schools and renovate existing ones to create quality learning environments for our children.
  5. Invest in Education: Utilizing NGCDF funds, we will equip local primary and secondary schools, enhancing educational resources for better learning outcomes.
  1. Strengthen Security: We will improve safety by constructing additional police stations and posts, along with developing social amenities that engage the community and create job opportunities.
  2. Champion Legislative Change: Our representatives will actively advocate for laws that uplift the lives of Embakasi North residents, ensuring fair distribution of resources.
  3. Ensure Financial Accountability: We will oversee state organs to guarantee transparency in national revenue allocation and expenditures that benefit our constituency.
  4. Support Marginalized Groups: We will empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) to create an inclusive and thriving community.
  5. Advance Technology Access: We will construct ICT centers and provide free Wi-Fi in all wards, bridging the digital divide and fostering innovation.
